Summer 2025 - Issue 180

 Our Beautiful Cemetery
 Best Club Award Winners
Welcome to the summer issue of Barrow Voice.

Our village remains full of volunteers who give their time for the benefit of us all - from arts to sports; from the environment to our communal spaces; from children to senior citizens. It’s always great to be able to use this village magazine to celebrate their activities and achievements. Thank you, everybody.

Talking of achievements, we have several for the village: Baptist minister Neil Jones ran the London marathon; Humphrey Perkins School achieved (again) a ‘Good’ in its Ofsted rating; and former village residents Barrie and Joy Atkins celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

If you know of anyone who is doing anything exceptional or unusual or has achieved a goal, please let Barrow Voice know. We would love to share your news with the village.
