Charnwood’s renowned orchestra is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a not-to-be-missed concert on Saturday 21st October at Holy Trinity Church, starting at 7.30pm. Conducted by Nic Fallowfi eld, the evening programme is a wonderful musical mix of Mendelssohn (Overture to A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Dvorák’s Wind Serenade and his Two Waltzes for Strings. The evening will end with Beethoven’s wonderful Symphony No.2.

Tickets are available in advance from Taylor’s Florist, members of the orchestra or via the orchestra’s email tickets@charnwoodorchestra.org.uk. You will also be able to buy them at the door with a cash payment … if there are any left! They are priced at £14 (£12 for concessions); 18s and under or NUS members can pay £5.
