Barrow Baptist Church Holiday at Home Monday 26th July - Sunday 1st August
Summer is here again and we are looking forward to our holiday week 2010.

For those new to Barrow, this is our 6th annual event for the over 6os age group. We meet most days through the week for a variety of activities, and this year our theme is ‘Water for Life’.
Our holiday celebrations often include meals together, and this year is no exception. On Monday we will have lunch followed by a light hearted quiz, and plenty of time to chat with your friends, and hopefully make some new ones.
Our other days include ‘Messing about on the river’, (not really - but it will be a very interesting day); ‘I do like to be beside the seaside’, to include fish and chips, and our coach excursion this year is to Leamington Spa. (I hope you have picked up on the water connection!) Book early as seats go very quickly. (Coach with a lift available)
On Sunday 1st August we end our week with a Prom Praise to be held in Holy Trinity Church at 3.30pm. Our music will be provided by the Loughborough Concert Band, and this is open to all who wish to come.
Look out for further details which will be available in June. Booking is essential for the outing and helpful for the other days, (esp. where food is involved.)
If you need wheel chair or other assistance be assured that we are there to help you. Transport to and from events is available for those who need it.
We hope you will enjoy it. You are very welcome.
Please telephone for more information: Judith Morrison tel. 01509 412770
‘TAKE A BREAK’ On Friday 9th July COFFEE and BISCUITS will be served between 10.00am and 11.30am. This would be an ideal time to come and find out more. We will be there to answer any questions about the holiday week, you can book tickets, or just use the time to catch up on each other’s news.
