www.wherecanwego.com a national site guiding you to local and other events. www.whatcanwedotoday.co.uk a local site hosted by our very own Mulberry Square (who produce Barrow Voice) bursting with ideas and information.
www.goleicestershire.com/thingstodo/ describes itself as the official guide to Leicestershire and Rutland and is the website for the Tourist Information Centre.
www.whatson.charnwood-arts.org.uk gives information about events in all the arts including all kinds of music, theatre, cinema, visual art, musicals, dance, poetry etc
www.leics.gov.uk is the very useful Leicestershire County Council site. Take the Leisure & Tourism option and then What’s On-search. You mostly get information about community events.
www.barrowuponsoar.org.uk our own village website. Find Barrow on Soar pages then click on Walks and Places to visit (right at the bottom of the list). In addition to information about local walks there is also a long list of tourist attractions that you can visit in a day from Barrow. If you click on a place you are taken straight to that website (eg Alton Towers).
